Amazon Shopping App Reviews

This is normally a great app and their store has alway been great; however, after the most recent updates the app is unstable on my iPad Pro. Searches return results and then the app crashes right as they appear. Not saying dont get this app, just be aware theyre having some QA/QC challenges.

Constantly kicks you out of purchases, prompts for Touch ID, and just gives you errors. It will ask for Touch ID 3 or 4 times and if you turn it off it prompts for password 3 or 4 times. Worst app Ive ever used.

After the last update it now prompts me to use the fingerprint scanner every single time. Really annoying. Please fix

Since last update I cannot see my orders anymore. The app is asking for my password over and over again, or Touch ID. Cant even purchase anything through the app anymore. Whats the reason for having the app if its unusable. It worked just fine before.

This app has gotten better over the years but recently i noticed when I am browsing "Deal of the day" products the pictures keep disappearing or wont load. All I can see is the title and description. Need pictures, dont have time to wait for them to reload on their own time. Also the prices can be wrong. An item for example will show $7.99-29.99 then you click the options of the product whether it be a different size or color and there is NOTHING for 7.99 on the list. Its all 29.99 etc.

Use this to save money when in any store. Just scan the item barcode while in app and find things cheaper.

I love Amazon and I love this app. However, if I stay on too long, it almost always crashes. Usually I can find what I was looking at by pulling up recent searches, but its still really annoying. Happens on both iPad and iPhone. Not sure if its purposeful to keep users from taking up bandwidth too long or what.

I have updated this app and also restored my IPhone 6 Plus and this app is the only one that keeps shutting off. Its frustrating because I use the refine search so every time I set up my search, it closes and then I have to do it again and start over. Other then that Good app when it works right.

I Been using Amozan app for long time now. Its very simple, not confusing. I easily access my account with one touch. I search for tons of thing. I purchase them easy. Very great shopping app.

Functionality needs to be improved, loading up the app takes longer than it needs to. Also, since the last update the scrolling has been really slowed down. Please fix

When I look at the price at the item, it says something more expensive when I proceed to checkout on prime.

I love this app. It is so easy to use and really helps for price comparisons! I use it daily.

Does not send email to get logged in. No phone number to be found. Side rant / heavy products cost too much to ship to make buying it worthwhile.

Ive been using the app for a long time now and Ive spent a lot of money with Amazon as a prime member buying countless items. I didnt expect the newest version to include advertisement in it.

I used to like getting on this app seeing the recommendations, adjusting them if I liked or already owns the item and thin refreshing the page to see them again. They keep recommending items that I hate or own and theres no way I can tell them about it. I used to get on once a week. An app is supposed to be a simple streamlined version of the website and this thing is a clunky brick. Its slower and less efficient than going on the real website. For a company that mountains of money this thing was designed by a Neanderthal.

Ive used Amazon for years, and have always enjoyed so much being able to shop and read reviews before I buy, and most of the time, if the price is comparable to store prices, Amazon usually wins for me because of the convenience. HOWEVER- I do wish that Amazon would screen their potential merchandisers to make sure their policies were similar as Amazons. Ive purchased things and have not seen the fine print. Im sure those that reviewed he products didnt either. I recently bought an electric juicer because ours broke. We used it approximately 5 times over the course of a month, and the motor burned up. I tried to return it, just as I have a few other items that needed replaced over the years, but this retailer had a 30 day return policy. So what I thought was a great deal of $27. Was now $27 for 5 juicings. I think they should be a little more selective bringing in new retailers without checking their past record for customer service.
