Amazon Shopping App Reviews

The app has no security when it comes to login, every time it should ask to authenticate the login credentials. Let it be by typing in password or by fingerprint. Right now anyone can go into my phone and place an order since Im logged in which is not secure. Amazon needs to do something about this, other than that the app is good.

The Amazon app has gotten much better over the years. Its very stable and reliable, easy to navigate and most importantly its security has gotten better.

Seriously. I could open the app on my iPad, go to Amazon.com on my pc, place an order, and the item would arrive faster than the app will load. The only reason it gets a second star is because it actually syncs to my account.

I was looking for a book on a particular topic. Any entered search term defaults to all categories, even after selecting a category. For instance, I was searching for a book on graphic design grids. I selected books entered "grid" and this resulted in a selection of waffle irons. MAJOR FAIL for a company like Amazon.

Guaranteed ship dates are missed constantly, the customer service team has no power to help with issues, and the browse/suggestion features are becoming useless as the site fills with cheap junk from 3rd party vendors.

Everything works fine, but seriously. Stop vibrating my phone. I know I added something to my cart, I dont need a vibration to reassure me that the number over the shopping cart increased when I click "add to cart." Its annoying, please remove this pointless feature.

I use this app very often & it is very handy. It makes it so much easier to get what I need quickly. I do wonder however, why I need a second app to do other things, namely Amazon video although there is Amazon music as well. When I want to rent something I am told I am not able to on my device but if I go to the website I can...so why am I using the app? If u want to strictly shop, this app will do it. If u want to utilize anything else prepare for multiple apps or going back online. Hoping the future will bring more cohesion to the amazon universe.

I absolutely love this app for shopping and browsing. However, it crashes too frequently.

This app is great for on the go shopping. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is because sometimes the app closes out for no apparent reason

Updated to v.6.3.0 and now it keeps freezing and and doesnt scroll down. Do not update to this version.

I type in "protein powder" and the app will include in search results "nizoral shampoo" (one of my past purchases. The algorithm for searches is now tweaked to sell you things youre not actually seeking. It is exceptionally annoying now. #terriblesesearchengine #schemestosellmore

The best App ever. Amazon makes shopping online very simple. I have never had an issue and they have always taken care of me. Love the service and navigating the App is a Breeze. Getting Prime is a must and worth it.

I have pretty good vision, but on my iPhone I cant read labels of nutritional supplements that are shown only in the images. You cannot zoom in on anything like in a browser, so if you want to know whats in a formula, and its not in the description (which is quite common), you may be out of luck.
